Fundraising is an integral part of our organization. Each year we host two major types of events to help us raise the funds we need to give our scholarships. We host an annual gala and two golf tournaments. Sponsorships, ticket sales and donations from these events are a big part of our success.
Together with Jacinto Ramos Jr., school board trustee and the NSHLF board members, we want to SIMPLIFY matters for you, our NSHLF supporters, by making it convenient and easy to sponsor our ongoing fundraising events.
Our new CAPITAL program…
*Establishes your monetary level of commitment long before a fundraiser takes place.
*Allows your company time to submit commitment levels coinciding with your fiscal calendar when budgets are fixed for the year.
*Allows US, the NSHLF, to plan events around a set budget each year.
It is our hope that this program becomes a WIN-WIN for both of us. We think the idea of establishing a CAPITAL program will allow both of us time to do what we do best so let’s keep it simple.
2 levels of sponsorship per year…
$5,000 - Gala Table of 8 includes dinner, dancing, photo booth and entertainment.
2 Golf tournaments to be held in April & June 2022 – Team of 4
$2,500 - Gala – 4 tickets includes dinner, dancing, photo booth and entertainment.
1 Golf tournament of your choosing (either April or June)- Team of 4

We hold an annual golf tournament and so many of you come out to support a fun day on the green, bringing your A team to play 18 holes, eat breakfast & lunch and win some fun raffle prizes. Beer, soft drinks and water is always on the house, thanks to you, our sponsors. Our 2022 tournaments are set for April & June at Pecan Valley Golf Course. Click for More info.

Our annual semi-formal gala is BACK ON this year post COVID-19. This year’s event is only weeks away on Oct. 15, 2021 at 5th & Carroll Venue in Ft. Worth. This night proves to be more than just a fundraiser for 1st generation students attending college. We will serve dinner, have a cash bar, free photo booth, best silent auction in town and dance into the night. Additionally, we will be celebrating past scholarship recipients and highlighting their achievements at the various universities represented.
